Prof. Vijal Jain

Prof. Vijal Jain is a highly skilled academician and practitioner with more than a decade of experience in teaching, corporate training and research in information technology and cybersecurity. She has a strong education background in Computer Science and has taught and mentored students at some of the best institutions for higher education, including VIT University, Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, and the Canadian College. Her work integrates industry and academia and adds relevance in her teaching and research.

Prof. Jain has a Bachelors and Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the prestigious Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey (SNDT) Women's University, Mumbai. Her PhD doctoral research and post-doctoral research primarily focuses on the emerging fields in cybersecurity, cryptography, cloud security and digital forensics.

Prof. Jain is an active researcher who has published over 10 peer reviewed research papers, many of them have been awarded Best Research Paper at international conferences and journals. Prof. Jain is also noted for providing guidance, experience and tutelage to more than 40 students on advanced technology projects related to ethical hacking, secure systems and data analytics.
